I created a local PC-DVR to auto-record some motion detection. Just on the local machine with an attached hard drive. Very simple. I allocated 200GB of space, since that's all I could allocate. So I saw there was an updated version of the surveillance pro software and I upgraded, which comes built in with the PC-DVR. Now when I click on the PC-DVR everything is grayed out and I can't manage the allocated space at all anymore. What's going on here? I really don't want to move back to an older version of the software, but it seems the new version broke at least the local PC-DVR function. Any ideas here? I viewed the online instructions, checked everything I could think of but all those options are grayed out. Any suggestions?

a) Device name: This can be anything eg: PC NVR

Re: Local PC-DVR broke in new version
Yes, that did the trick and let me allocate space on the local drive. Thanks.
