Latest Firmware Upgrade for IPM2M-841 is cause of push notifications no longer allowing immediately playback

Prior to upgrading to the latest version (Sept. 2016), the Amcrest notification (Amcrest View Pro app) would pop on my Samsung Galaxy S7 running Android 6.0.1, and when I clicked on it, would immediately take me to view an image/video of what triggered the motion sensor. After the upgrade, it now indicates No Recording. In lieu of this, I have to go to the Playback option, select the date, and time. This is quite annoying and inefficient.

I came to this conclusion because I own three of the cameras (IPM2M-841B, IPM2M-841B, and IPM2M-841W). Two of them were upgraded when I was prompted to as I logged into the camera from IP Config. With the third one, I canceled out of the upgrade request and checked if the mentioned problem existed; it does not.

So, beware on upgrading to the latest firmware. I'm not sure if this will impact all phone types and operating systems, but it has also occurred for me on my extra Samsung Galaxy S4 with an older version of Android (using it as my door bell).

Amcrest, please fix the firmware!

This is why I always download any update and update manually. If i dont like it I reset it back to a previous version i downloaded.

If there any new updated firmware after sept 2016 for the ip2m-841 camera. I have the sept version and the issue of emails with incorrect time stamp is still there. If this eas corrected, please send me the new firmware since in the site only show the sept version.

I'm told they are working on this in a communication as recent as Monday.

Any updates on this issue? Push notifications are useless without being able to see the event that triggered it.-- I'm having this issue on IPM-HX1B Pro HD cameras
