We just installed an IP2M-842, and we can't get an actual "real time" streaming to work. The main stream (1080p) starts out with ~2s latency as soon as the feed starts, and it increases as time goes on, often reaching values >above 10s. I've tried all the different fluency settings, nothing works. Using the substream (VGA), the latency stays in the 1-2s range for longer, but sometimes also gets even bigger. We've tried the website interface and several apps/viewers, some of them show even longer delays. The camera is ~15ft from the router, and the signal looks strong in that spot. I understand that there's a delay for all IP cams, and WiFi can make trouble, too, but several seconds is well beyond all that. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on and how to fix it?
