I have the Amcrest HD Pro IP2M-841. Camera is wired connected through my gigabit switch.
When i connect my android phone through wireless (with full signal) if i choose to watch the live video in HD then the movements of the persons are becoming very very slow. Why is that?

Hello andis ,
If you added the camera by scanning the QR code, the connection is over the internet and hence the delay.Try using the extra stream under video stream in the view pro app.

Thanks for the reply. I have added the camera through amcrestview.com on my mobile phone. So every time I connect, I’m connecting through internet, even if I’m at my home locally.
Even if I change the stream to Extra and then select the “HD” option again the video is slow.
In addition, if I exit the application, when I log back in the stream goes to Main and the “HD” option is on “SD”.
So I added the same camera but this time using the local IP address of the camera. I also changed the stream to extra. It is still noticeable the lag of video (even though locally).
Again if I log out the settings are not saved.
