IPM-721S motion detection not picking up

I've had my camera for 3 days and have called tech support several times to adjust the detection region, sensitivity and threshold for my camera. It will pickup random events like the bushes moving, etc but not obvious events like a car leaving my complex which is 15 feet in front of the camera. Or someone walking by. Cars just appear and disappear from my cloud recordings all the time because of this. And I find out this morning that I cannot have it record all day to the cloud as it is only for motion detection recordings which does not work all the time, so it is pretty pointless to pay for cloud storage. And I do not think 128GB will be enough to have it record all day long. So with the camera in its current state and the bad customer support I am starting to look for an option that does work. Has anyone else had any luck with getting their camera to record on motions with a higher than 50% accuracy?

same issue. Support is TERRIBLE here, camera has no clue on motion detection, waste of money, but worse - waste of a TON OF TIME
