IP8M-2779EW-AI Defog on BLC cannot be enabled?

Defog setting turned on, BLC cannot be enabled?, is this by design or a bug?

My guess is by Design. I tried few of mine that offers BLC and Defog and with BLC enabled if I try to turn on Defog I get a error message that it Blc Enabled, Failed to set Defog. It has been long ago if I remember right there was something wrote about it back in 2019 from another cameras use that it wouldn't enable and it was by design.
