I am sure there will be someone that will contact you if they said they would.. .I had a ticket in last year that I thought they forgot about me and when I was just about to send in a Email that I was at that time writing saying Guess you forgot about me lol... I got a call... Issue at times not saying always but at times they will take a camera and see if they can get the same issue as yours, Try and correct the issue if they did get it and then call with a Solution... However I am wondering what you have tried to use other then just your iPad? Because IOS devices are sadly not well liked it seems by Amcrest Devices... I did have some issues like you mention and I reset the Camera and issue went away.. However I am not sure it really did because it was about 6 months before I used my iPhone again and there was other updates between on things... SO i am not sure if it really cured the issue or if I just wasn't using the iPhone anymore so that issue didn't come back.. However as I said since that there was an Update. Now over the last month I haven't had any issues using my iPhone however I don't use it often most times it is my S9 I use with my Amcrest Devices..

Thanks for the info. I have the same problem on all browsers on my Windows 10 laptop, so it's not an iPad issue.

I hate to say it but it sounds like if it was my camera I would do a Camera Factory reset of the camera... While this is going to be one of the first things that Amcrest will ask you to do... I would do it while your waiting for them to call you back and get it out of the way... At times it can solve a lot of issues... Just an idea... If it was me that is where I would be at this point....

Thank you for the update on this... Sorry they were not able to get things worked out without a workaround but as long as it is working well enough atm is what is important.. Hope they get a Fix for you before long...

Problem resolved. I was contacted by Amcrest today. They accessed my camera remotely. They saw my problem and gave me a “workaround” to avoid the issue. They sent the details to R&D for a fix and/or software update. I’m finally satisfied with their effort.

I'm having the same issues..
Motion detection settings are not being saved, in any browser OR the Armrest software.
Has there been additional action on this topic? I do have the most recent firmware installed as well.

This was driving me CRAZY on my new cam too. I just figured out the save works if you logon in "admin" built in account, but not when i logon to an account I created and gave admin rights.

However from amcrest surveillance pro software, i'm able to save it with either.. Go figure.

Yay! Admin user works for me for the video detection/zone settings save problem. Been trying to figure out this one for 6 months now. I can't believe Amcrest hasn't released a fix for this yet. It seems so basic and easy to reproduce.

It did seem to work for the Amcrest Pro software, but then it wouldn't come up in the Web UI which made me wonder if it actually did work.
