Hello and welcome to the Forum

Sadly the cameras come with one or the other as per the Part number they carry. So if you bought the camera new From Amcrest I would ask them if they could swap out your 2.8mm for a 3.6mm one if they had it in stock. Outside of that the hardest part is going to find someone that isn't mis leading the consumer about the MP of lens being sold and or maybe the 3mp and 5mp lenses are really the same it is hard to say.. I do know that I have some 2mp cameras with 3 mp lenses and found that to be odd but does offer a good picture.. I would say however if you bought it used or is past the Return time looking for a lens with the right data for your camera meaning sensor size you don't want to put on that was made for a different type of Sensor as it would or could give you a strange bowl looking picture...

Edit: So looking on Ebay and Knowing what I pay for CS lenses this would be a good place to start if your camera is no longer in warranty and wanted to change out the lens but I didn't look very hard for just the lens as I am sure it could be out there as there are a lot of listing for cameras with the option but here is one that comes as a kit and Personally it is a AHD camera that if someone don't have a DVR for it it don't matter just keep the Sensor as a backup if needed but sure it never will need to be used. https://www.ebay.com/itm/AHD-HD-1080P-2 ... I would say that or the little Mini Box camera that has that lens is about same price but does give you a small housing.. yard the lens and store the rest or use it as a backup to your 3.6mm for a wider view there are many options..
Be Safe.
