IP5M-T1179E Only able to download "sub stream" clips

Post by jmbsmt63 »

I am just getting used to this camera so I might have missed something.
When I try to download motion detect clips from the SD card, All I get are the Sub Stream ( VGA 640/480) I can't get the Main Stream ( any resolution that I have tried) of the same clips.
I have tried using the web interface as well as the win10 program. (Through either a wireless laptop or a wired/ethernet desktop PC).
How do I view/download a "Hi-Quality" clip from the SD card?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Have you checked that you have specified the main stream in "Record Control"? Page 46 of the user manual - https://drive.google.com/file/d/18ZLnbR ... Vak6TmOX2Q

@jmbsmt63 Hello and Welcome to the Forum

Something to look at as well is the Quality of your Network connection be it Internet Connection, Cable type and quality of hardware that is trying to view or download footage. While I can't say for sure but at times if things are not up to 100% standards the device can downgrade your footage to be able to get it to you in a timely manor one way to test this and not easy really seeing where the MSD card is located in this camera, however if you were to take footage off the card it might be 100% of HD. That is if your system is Setup already to be in Main Stream as Longedge has said to make sure it was setup for..
Be Safe.
