I recently setup my IP5M-1190W camera. It is mostly working, but I have run into 2 problems with snapshots:
1: When I receive an event e-mail with an attached snapshot the jpg file cannot be opened.
2: I store my event videos and hopefully event snapshots to an ftp server. The event videos are showing up without problems, but there no corresponding event snapshots.
Hopefully there is an easy fix for these 2 problems.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hello and Welcome to the forum
In the area where you told the Camera to send Video to FTP you will also need to click the next area and have that also send to FTP. You can have 1 without the other and or you can choose to have them both.
About bad images in Email. That sounds like it might be a connection issue. I would double check that your WIfi is Strong to the camera (If it is on Wifi) anyway bring up the camera WebUI, Then Setup, Then Network, Then Wifi. It should show your connection bars in the search area. If it is on one or none the camera needs to be run VIA Ethernet or moved closer to the Wifi..

Emails seem to be working now, but nothing gets stored on the ftp server.
I have ftp selected both motion and alarm turned for both snapshot and record. The directory gets created, but no files show up. The corresponding e-mail contains a single snapshot.
When I test the FTP connection I get "green check" "FTP Server test success.

I am sorry for the Dumb question but I have to ask to make sure that something so easy wasn't overlooked.
Did you Enable it?
So I am not sure if yours is setup like some of mine. Even though you setup and save and press test and get folder even all that will work however if at the top of the page if the Enable was not checked then it will never FTP. Sorry not all are setup that way and I only had the 1190 for a week before I returned it so I never looked at how the FTP file setup is laid out
