If I do anything with the illumination, the settings revert to default settings no matter what I do. This is my first replacement unit and this cam does the same thing as my last one.

In the setup web page, go to: Camera, Configuration, then on the right side click on illuminator, it resets to
Fill Light: White light
Mode: Auto
If I select Mode: Off, after a few minute it will have reset to Mode: Auto.
Instead of using profiles for Day and Night, I had to choose General profile in profile management , and then use the General profile for the camera illuminator. so now I have no custom settings for Day or Nnight but at least the lights are not coming on.
I really need this camera to be stealth and no IR, White light, or power light at night. as I have external lighting
Anyway to have these issues fixed Amcrest folks?

To be honest, I am not sure. I had the 1190 a week before I returned it to Amazon. At first for a refund however they gave it in a giftcard so I changed out for the ASh47.. It looks almost the same but I think the ASH47 is built better. Only down side if that you have to use Smart Home app, ASP, NVR or something other than WebUI because Smart Home devices don't have WebUI offerings.
Only thing that I could think of is that maybe your using Cloud and didn't make the change in the Cloud so the cloud didn't like the change you made and changed it back?
Outside of that maybe a flaw that I didn't run into using it for a week.

Thanks Revo2Maxx, I think I'll just leave it in general mode and and leave it in the weather and see how it does. 
Thanks goodness this doesnt have the Smart home app thing, those are not good and I wont buy those. Also I am not using the cloud, I am pretty much standalone with the amcrest DVR and Blue iris. Sure is quirky! I can see why you would return it. Thanks again!
