I have four IP4M-1051B cameras, and have recently purchased a fifth. All are setup the same way, to email me with attachments when motion is detected.
The fifth camera is not doing this properly. The attachments it sends are somehow corrupt. When I save them on my PC and try to open them, my image program says they are invalid images.
This only happens with the newest camera - all other cameras work just fine.
All cameras are running the Amcrest_IPC-AWXX-V2-Rhea_Eng_NP_AMCREST_V2.620.00AC000.3.R.20191218.bin firmware.
Am I missing something, or did I just get a wonky camera which I should return? (which will be difficult, since I already threw away some of the extraneous accessories like the ethernet cable and the bracket...)
Has anyone experienced this before?

Re: IP4M-1051B email issues
And P.S., I should note that I upgraded the firmware to the latest version, but prior to that, I was receiving emails where one or two of the three images was corrupt, but sometimes all 3 images were valid. After updating to the latest firmware, I have not received a successful image since.

Re: IP4M-1051B email issues
I have found a workaround to this issue - though I can't explain why the issue is happening in the first place.
I noticed that the emails I was receiving from my new camera were much larger than the ones from my older cameras, even though all cameras were the same model. I looked at all the various options, but could find no differences in settings.
I went to the Video -> Snapshot option, and changed the quality of the image from 5 to 3 (it is 5 on the old cameras), Snapshot Type = "Event". This brought the email size down to the same scale as on the older cameras, and now the images are not corrupt.
