So I thought I would post something really fast and look for some ideas of what others have found to be strange and maybe with some posting of these ideas it might be Fixed if that is what is needed in a Future update??
So for me first thing I would like to see changed in the Light control changed from IR to Illumination or something other then calling it something that it isn't seeing the Camera has Normal Leds and not IR LEDS..
What have you found to be the Sweet Spot for Encoding? I have some strange things happen with Delays in video. I am guessing this is caused by the Mini Computer built into the camera that has to do all the hard work before it is sent to the screen so I have not had much issues with that.. Or I just keep telling myself it is doing a lot lol...
Also what AI are you using that is built into the Camera and are you using a AI NVR or normal one?
Right now I am using a NV2116-HS, I most likely will test it out on all my Recorders and see what one seems to work the best with it, I have a 5mp TVI DVR that will Encode 6MP IP so I will test it on that as well. However that is out of the Scope of this but want to make sure to test all aspects of the camera. However I will test it out on my Amcrest 4108E and 4108H both non HS models and are no longer supported with FW updated but will want to see how things look with them as well..
I will have to break down soon and get a AI NVR and I have been talking with my Wife about doing so for my Birthday, will have to see how that goes lol. 4-20 so I still have some time.
Also without to much Data but enough to maybe help others what is your mounting location for the camera? Do you find it able to Detect things well enough or are you still looking for the right spot for the right captures?

So a Question I have while not about the 1046 However it is Related to it. Is anyone using the 1046 with a AI NVR? Would like to know if there is a Set number of rules that one can add on the NVR?
So take for instance while this is only something heard and don't know, however if Setting the Smart, and then adding Line crossing or Enter Exit areas is there a limited number of Channels that you can have the Smart plan active on? If you have found there is a limit, how many and what number of channel NVR do you own? I mean say there can only be 4 Smart plans on a 8ch yet the 16ch can have 6 or 8 that would be a cause for me to buy the 16ch over an 8. However if there is no limit and a 8ch NVR will let me have up to 8 channels with Line crossing that would be just fine.
