IP3M 954EW

Post by maor »

Hello,

I have recently purchased the above, but in order to install it I must cut the RJ45 and punch the 6 wires down again (must go through an existing narrow hole in a concrete wall). I'm after the pin-out of the wires. hopefully someone here can shed a light...

I've tried searching the forum first, as well as emailing support, but with zero response even after pinging them couple of times (good to know...).

Thanks,
Maor.

What are you asking? How to do it or the pinout? There are a few standards 568B and 568A.
You will need to look at the other end of the cable to determine B or A.

This diagram might help http://pinouts.ru/NetworkCables/Etherne ... nout.shtml

I'm looking for the pinout. I'm aware of 568A/B and PoE modes. There are 6 wires if you actually remove the female connector, not standard colors. while I can most probably solve this by trial and error, I definitely prefer to have the pinout from the vendor, or someone here that knows.
Thanks.

My dog chewed off the end and I know how to build ethernet cables however the wire colors used in the IP3M 954 camera are not standard but rather black, red, blue, etc.... so has anyone ever figured it out?
