IP3M-943W won't stay connected

Hi All,

I have been having this issue with my IP3M-943 for a long time where I have to reboot it by power cycling it every time I want to access it. Once I get it connected it will stay on for a while, not exactly sure how long, but I am sure to have to reboot it again next time. Also, it does not seem to be recording at all. I can see the SD card by wireless, but it won't finish formatting it in this mode, and it has nothing recorded on it. And I've always had a next to impossible time getting access to live video remotely, which was why I bought it.

I have given up on this in the past, but now I want my camera back. It lives at the peak of the roof of my garage looking at my driveway, and being in my mid 60's makes dealing with it on the ladder a difficult if not sometimes unattainable goal.

Do I need to buy another one? That would suck, I think this one is maybe 5 years old. It worked well for about a year or two before this started. AmCrest did send me a longer stub antenna once, but I'm not sure it actually helped.

Sounds like the Issue is your MicroSD card hard to say it but one of the things that happens when they go bad is you start to have issues that it will just Power Cycle on its own. Main reason is because the camera has Checks and it fails the Micro SD check and tries to cure it with a reboot.. Swap the card.. See if that cures it...
