IP3M 943

Post by abdallas »

I have two of these cameras that I just purchased on Amazon. On one I constantly get "Failed to get Video Stream, Resources are limited". When I check Wifi, signal strength shows as 78%. The other one does not seem to have similar issues. I am about fed up and ready to return these. I am using Blue Iris and my computer keeps loosing connection with the front camera.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am having exactly the same issue, I have 2 of these cams and the second cam is giving me one hell of time with issues. Either the Resources are limited or it will not show up at all in the ipconfig app.I have these cams mounted next to each other, 1 facing north, 1 facing south. If i unmount the #2 cam and take inside I can get it to work again, but as soon as i remount outside again it FAILS. Is it because its mounted next to the other cam? Its not a WIFI strenght issue as the other cam works fine and the 2nd will work when unmounted from house and in my basement (twice as far from the router). I have 4 other IPCAMS all foscams and never have any issues with those cams. Ready to return these back to ebay amcrestdigitaltech.

Hello Snowmobiler ,

Can you try placing the cameras at least 5 feet apart and see if it works better for you? Sometimes the wifi signals could be conflicting and causing this issue.

Moving the camera 5 ft away is not a option. I have 2 other foscams that are mounted within 5 inches of each other and they are also twice as far from the router as the amcrest cams. Now both these cams are losing their video settings from h.264.h to h.264.b i have to keep changing them.
