IP3M-941B Dual Band & Radio Selection Hard Coding
Using V2.620.00AC00.3.R, Build Date: 2019-12-18 on IP3M-941B and there is no way to specify the radio to use. I have 2 of these cameras and have tinkered with cloaking, kicking the mac off the wlan, and selectively transmitting the ESSID on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. One devices uses 2.4GHz and the other 5GHz. Of course, these both were working for a few months on 5GHz w/ network cloaking enabled. Then suddenly the camera reverted to a blinking green lost connectivity state. Once I enable both radios, it connects again. Please ... how can I force the radio on this?

I am not sure I have not had that camera at my home it is at the Cabin and I have it set up on my 5g but I don't know if the area under networking tcp/ip and then pick in the drop down Default for the one you want to use? I am not sure this is just a guess... Sadly when I set mine up I just went though the motions not really looking at things in side over what I know about my 841s.. Only knew that it would work on 5g so I took that one.. I have been toying with the idea to bring it home and put a 841 at the cabin..
Be Safe.

Is this a single dual band router? If so and the user interface allows it, I find it best to switch off sync between the two channels so 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz operate independantly each one with a unique SSID.
In my neighbourhood wi-fi is very often 'swamped' especially 2.4Ghz. 5Ghz is not as 'busy' but the range is very poor. My house layout, construction materials and other devices using and in some cases blocking the signal didn't help so I gave up on wi-fi for my cameras in the end and went to the trouble of installing ethernet and that resolved the connection problems that I had. If it's an option to do the same then I'd recommend it.

I have a dedicated SSID for 5GHZ for only the Amcrest cameras (as I dont trust these systems) and fully segment from my home network. If I *only* enable 5GHZ, one camera connects and the other doesnt. If I enable both 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ, but connect but to different spectrums.
