I use ASP to view cameras on my home network. One of the 941 cameras always shows up offline. I enter the password and it then shows up online, but it takes several seconds before the various data fields get filled in. Then it takes about 20 seconds for the view to show up. If I view another camera, then try to view the first camera again, it still takes 20 seconds for the view to show up. This camera and two other cameras connect to the network via ethernet to a switch which is connected to my router. The other two cameras take about two seconds for the view to show up! I wonder why this camera is so different from the other cameras. Any advice will be appreciated.

IP3M-941 Problem
Re: IP3M-941 Problem
No Wifi. The problem camera is ethernet to a switch, the switch is ethernet to the router, the router is ethernet to the cable modem. The switch has two other cameras connected that show no lag.

Re: IP3M-941 Problem
If it is a Managed switch log into the switch and check to see if there is a bunch of error? If there is try a different port even if it isn't a managed switch for sure try a different port..
If you can't get it to work on Ethernet I would reset the camera back to factory and setup using Wifi node form your phone. If it works on Wifi and not on Ethernet then there is an issue with the Ethernet Ciruict of the camera.. I have a 841 that I turned into a Pure Wifi only by removing the Ethernet Transformer. Without it or if it is damaged the camera can only work over Wifi.. If it won't work over Wifi then there is something else in the cameras circuit that is damaged. Maybe the Ethernet chip it self..

Re: IP3M-941 Problem
Thanks for the suggestions. I took a different approach; I logged on to the 4108 and checked out the Live View. No lag!! I am beginning to think there is some issue between the ASP and the 4108. ASP has this issue, and it has an older issue where Play Back doesn't work.

Re: IP3M-941 Problem
Well, ALL issues solved! I really don't know how. Maybe magic? Anyway, the ASP now has no lag on any of the cameras! AND I am able to view Backup video! Just after I had gotten good at using the 4108 for viewing both real time and backup video.
