ip3m-941 mechanical switches

What are the four mechanical slider switches for on the back of the ip3m-941 base? They were all in the up position when the camera came out of the box. There seems to be four letters over the switches 'I G G O'. :?:

Those are for Alarm I/O wire attachment.
