Hi,
I am having problems setting up remote access to the camera so I can view live footage over 3G/4G connections using LiveCams Pro on my iPhone/iPad. Port forwarding has been setup correctly on the LAN network as I can successfully remotely login using a web browser on the iPhone/iPad over 3G/4G however the same port does not work with the LiveCams Pro application. I don’t have this problem with any of my Foscam cameras.
Is there another setting that needs to be configured on the IP2M-846B camera to allow remote connections using iOS apps.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Anthony

Re: IP2M-846B camera
Hello ambm ,
The amcrest app uses TCP port for streaming but the Live cams app could be different. Please try forwarding the RTSP port on the camera and use that port in the Live cams app.

Re: IP2M-846B camera
Hi Melvin,
I have enabled forwarding for the RTSP port and can now view live footage remotely over a 3G/4G connection. I had to also ensure that the TCP port is also forwarded so the PTZ controls work. Interestingly, without the TCP port, you can view the live footage over the RTSP but the PTZ controls do not work.
Has there been any progress regarding a firmware update for the IP2M-846B camera that addresses the lens-Init issues and enabling the ability to change the watermark on the live feed?
Thanks for your help.
