I recently bought a IP2M-844EW to replace an aging foscam that worked for years in front of my house looking out my basement window. I wanted something rated for outdoors so I can use night vision.
I have the camera mounted under the eve of my garage and the picture is crystal clear. It works well for live viewing.
I wanted to set up snapshots when there is motion to be sent to my personal FTP server like my foscam has been doing for a couple of years now. I seem to have it working, with a few issues.
I have the snapshot schedule set for everyday all times so it should constantly be watching.
Even if I stand in front of the camera for 20 seconds waving my hands it only sends one snapshot. AND the snapshot won't even have me in it.
Here are the settings I believe are pertinent:
Anti-Dither: 5
Video>Snapshot Interval: 1S
Pre-event Record: 0
Also, I tried looking it up on google and this forum but it seems many other people a lot of different options than I have. Dont know why.
