IP2M-842 Settings reset constantly (log portion attached).

Post by Ghostyroasty »

I have noticed after a few hours, seemingly random, my camera resets the settings to default. I am using MotioneyeOS to do motion detection and I have a user account set up just for it. On the last log, I noticed the settings reset back to defaults because the motion detection started on the camera. the 192.168.1.81 address is the motion detection software. 1.2 is me logging in to check on it. Here is the clip from the log file:

This issue has existed since October 2015. Amcrest has apparently decided it's not worth it to fix the problem no matter how many people have the issue.

I wished I had known before. Having to import my settings every few hours is not an experience I wanted.
