IP2M-841W losing connection/can't access after few hours?
Re: IP2M-841W losing connection/can't access after few hours?
Any solve? I have not dug to deeply but have 1 camera out of 4 that dose this ever now and then on Android app I'll have to see if I can see on amcrest nvr before resetting. All slightly different models of amcrest cameras on same network. In the past I have played with setting default ip on camera and setting on http server/router with Mac address just learning how to use them. Now this router is setup at a access point for my new router. I'll have to see what settings are on what camera and compair. I can also use some of my gadgets to analyze network traffic and see what's going on if only I was able to learn how to. Do I need to buy a hackrf to analyze wifi traffic or a firewall running on a server or dedicated pc or what tools hardware or software would one use to troubleshoot this. I'm thinking an rf meter could tell you if it transmitting wifi but how would you analyze packets to see if your getting conflicts or a reply you should get?

Sadly I am not sure why a camera would close or turn off however any camera on the 2019 or 2020 FW will not stay connected to WebUI connection after a set time.. Any FW older then that like from 2017 or 2016 will stay running on WebUI without an issue.. SO Maybe look at the FW of the one of the three. If it is not that issue then I would try to see if swapping out the power supply for the one that does work longer and see if the issue follows the Power supply..
Only other issue that it could be besides FW or PS would be area of install.. To hot or to cold might have that effect as well...
