IP2M-841EW IR Cutting In and Out

I have (3) IP2M-841EW camera set up POE to the NV4108E NVR . All three have issue with IR cutting in and out in the dark. All equipment firmware is up to date. Have tried many different combinations on the settings via Amcrest email support with no fix. Even the "switch by period" setting will still result in the IR cutting in and out. Also, movement within the room will cause the IR to cut in and out. Currently waiting for one replacement camera via RMA to confirm if bigger issue with the actual cameras or if just by chance I have the only three with these issues.

Note that (2) IP2M-842EW cameras also part of the system..........no issues.

Other issues that I have with the above set up:
* two way "TALK" feature not available thru the IP2M-841EW cameras while attached to the NV4108E NVR
* overall sound quality (loudness - lack of)
* IOS 10 update for the Amcrest View Pro App for IPad - MAJOR FAIL.....not working at all.

Only been a month with the above set up but, I have concerns with the lack of timely firmware updates to resolve issues.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Hello Ollemj ,

Please try setting the D&N sensitivity in the video settings of the camera to low and also set the D&N delay to a hiher value and see if it helps.

* Two talk is currently not supported when cameras are added to NVR
* Please try adjusting the audio settings, try turning off the noise filter on the camera interface
* Ipad IOS 10 app will be will be released at the earliest.

Can you forward a screen shot of where these setting can be found? Please confirm via the Web UI

Can you confirm where I can find the settings for "D&N sensitivity in the video settings of the camera" , "D&N delay to a higher value" and "adjusting the audio settings, try turning off the noise filter" . If possible, send “screen shots”……that always helps.

Also, the setting done via the Web UI with camera attached to the NVR or IP Config with camera attached direct to Router?

Still having the same issue.........IR cutting in and out repeatedly (talking every 30 seconds) during darkness. I have tried many settings including the "low" d&N sensitivity and the "higher" D&N delay. Received a RMA camera last Friday (2nd RMA) and went thru the process of verifying the latest firmware and the settings listed above......no help. Actually have a 3rd IP2M-841E with similar issue but not as frequent. This one's IR cuts in/out with movement in the room.

Is there something that I'm missing? I've tried reloading the firmware, hard resets and many setting combinations...with no results. Cameras work perfect during the day or if set to B&W. Also, the issue continues when set to "switch by period"........shouldn't this prevent the IR cutting?

No issue with any of the exterior cameras (2) IP2M-842E or (1) IP2M-844E that I have connected to the NVR 4108E.

Need to get this running correctly quickly or I will be forced to move on from these cameras or system completely....what other interior POE camera with P&T can I use with the NVR 4108E?

I have the same problem with my hdcvi system i just installed, two front cameras were installed but one keeps switching between d&n, i sure wish i cud fix this i dont have access to the building at night so i cant adjust at night but the playback tells the story, i am hoping to find answers here, i hope you get yours fixed
