I bought two 1080P POE cameras and configured them without a lot of problems. A day after mounting the cameras one of them stopped panning to the left but everything else seems to work. After a reboot the camera would go back to being normal.
Today I did the factory reset because rebooting and cold restarting the camera did not fix the panning to the left issue. After the restart, I tried to control the camera with my cell phone and could hear a BRRR BRRR motor sound but the camera would still not pan to the left. The camera would attempt to calibrate the PTZ at power up and it moves a little to the left but does not have full range. The UI will Pan to the right and Tilt Up and Down as expected.
The camera is only two days old. Is there a solution to this problem or is the camera bad?
IP2M-841EB operates but won't Pan to the Left after two days
