IP2M-841EB API Questions

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to find out if it's possible to do the following actions through the API.

FYI My config is :
Profile Management -> Day -> Full Time
Day & Night -> Mode Auto / Sensitivity Middle / Delay 3s
Night Vision : Mode Smart IR
Software version : 2.420.AC00.17.R, Build Date: 2017-03-22


Everything works fine automatically but I'd like to get the status in a third party application.

1. Is is possible to get the status of Night Vision through the API. (Is the camera in night mode or not ?)
1b. Is it also possible to enable/disable the night vision ?

2. Is it possible to get the current presetId ? I've tried http://[IP]/cgi-bin/ptz.cgi?action=getStatus&channel=0 but the status.PresetId is always = 0

3. Is it possible to enable/disable the "tamper" option ? (like it's possible to enable the motion detection => http://[IP]/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&MotionDetect[0].Enable=true

You can download the http API for the camera from the link below. Please note that only the commands provided in the API are supported.

Hello Melvin,

That's what I did first and obviously 1. 1b. and 3. are not supported.
But #2 is always = 0. Is it normal ? I use the web interface to trigger the different preset but the value returned is always 0.
