Hi,
I have a problem with the substream of IP2M-841B.
Main stream works fine, as long as I am in my wifi network.
As soon a I am on 4G mobile network there is a lack of several seconds (up to 15-20 sec).
I assume this is caused by my limited upload of 1,1 Mbit/s, as the online monitor shows
the whole bandwith is used in mainstream mode, no matter what settings I choose.
But I realized if I only use the sub stream or if I set the main stream to 640*480 incl other parameter,
I have the same high upload.
On the mobile I use tinycam pro app.
I would like to set the local record in Full-HD but to have the tinycam using the substream.
Tinycam is set to low-bandwitdth mode, which sould only call the substream. But dealy is the same
and I see the same upload, as in normal mode calling the main stream.
Please advise on how to call only the substream with reduced upload.
thx

Re: IP2M-841B - substream not working
Hello Tungsten E2,
The Amcrest View Pro app calls sub stream by default. Not sure about Tiny cam monitor. Please ensure sub stream is enabled in the web interface of the camera under setup > Video.

Re: IP2M-841B - substream not working
strange.
I could not connect to cam using domain and pwd, so I used the P2P setup.
In Amcrest View Pro showed the substream with no delay and upload bandwith was fine.
Switching to main stream brought up the delay and upload was to high for my bandwith.
Switching back to substream failed, although Amcrest View Pro stated is was in SD mode.
Upload was same as in HD mode. Only killing the app and restart Amcrest View Pro changed
this back to substream with no delay.
Trying Tinycam pro again, without any changes to previous days was fine now.
The substream was called with no delay.
Very strange behavior of the cam...
