IP2M-841B Night Vision will not shut off

Post by jmac481 »

I have my IP2M-841B looking out a window so I need to have the night vision off. I have noticed the past couple of nights that the night vision was on and would not shut off. It seems to be stuck on auto. I recently upgraded to the latest firmware and that seems to be when the problem started. It worked fine before I performed the upgrade. Does anyone have any suggestions on possible solutions?

Thanks

Try this:

Go to Camera/Configuration/Night Vision

Profile = Day
Mode = Off

Profile = Night
Mode = Off

yes, the latest firmware has broke the app's night vision control. there is a workaround and i have reported it here.

i have raised the issue to support@amcrest.com with support request number 138168. it appears amcrest did not perform app regression testing before rolling out the new firmware.

2 brand new ones - Once IR comes on during night time but someone turns on lights in the area of them - IR stays on and will not go off until a hard power cut and re-application of power source. Then works normal until lights go out. Lights off - IR on. Lights back on - IR stays on. Do I need to return these and buy a different brand?
