IP2M-841-V3 returning "NULL NOT ALLOWED" setting static IP

Trying to change from DCHP to static IP.

Access camera Web GUI.

Setup>Network>TCP/IP menu.

'DCHP' is selected. I click on 'Static IP' next to it, and click save. I change nothing else.

NULL NOT ALLOWED message. Stays DCHP.

What the heck am I missing?


** Interesting enough, the 'twin' to this camera let me set it to 'Static'. But if I click on 'save' there the 'NULL' message is also presented now. All other settings are identical. **

I dont want to see if it will change to DCHP in case it wont switch back to static.



I swear I had this issue before, but cant seem to find it. Maybe a dream? Error screenshot below. Thanks!!

Solved!


Settings>Network>TCP/IP menu.

Reset Defaults.

Then click 'Static IP'

On mine the last 3 turned to 108. Changed it back to existing 31.

Save successful.

Hopefully, one day Amcrest will fix this annoying problem before the Earth crashes into the Sun.
