I have four ip2m-841-V3 cameras.
All four are setup the same.
They are all connecting to the same AP,
They are all setup to do constant video streaming and send snapshots when motion is detected. All to the same FTP server
They are all setup to send email to and from the same email addresses.
They all are running the latest firmware.
One of them randomly reboots all day. No camera has auto reboot turned on, which would be only for once a day anyway.
The same one also randomly fails to attach images when motion is detected. The others attach images just fine, every time.
I've downgraded to see if an older firmware version might help, it did not.
I performed a factory default and configured it from scratch, not using the exported configuration. Same problem.
It also happens to be closer to the AP than the other three and yet when I monitor the signal strength in the AP, it seems to fluctuate more then I think it should.
I swapped the power supply with another camera. Same problems.
So, What should I do next? Below is the versions and SN.

ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
Re: ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
Does it have a Micro SD card?
If it does remove it and only let it go to the FTP and Email and see if the issues go away.
Can you post a log Text file or send one to my email would be helpful, Like here is from my v3 from early this month

Re: ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
Oddly enough I looked at my info and it is different then yours
Personally don't know why it isn't listed as the one listed is before is from 2020 so not sure why I have this one. Maybe it was released and had some issues so the one your using was found stable. Then last FW before was put back as it was seen more stable then the one I have.
I do have the Bin file only for 2020 and 2021 listed so I have not looked I guess as mine seems to work fine. My folder and date I DL was June 2021

Re: ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
I unplugged the power and removed the SD Card. I wasn't using it anyway.
After the camera powered up, it was only a few minutes later the camera rebooted on it's own.
Removing the SD card did not solve this.
the log.backup was done after the camera rebooted on it's own.
The other three v3 cameras are running the exact same firmware, they do not have an sd card, and they work just fine.

Re: ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
I personally would try to do a Reset of the Camera? first. See if that cures it. Also keep the Micro SD card out for the time being. I do have a camera I think it is a normal 841 that no matter the Micro SD card the camera won't work. All other cameras work with the SD cards just not that one.
Then if that don't help I would then DL and install the Firmware package. If you want to keep the one you have DL that one or try the one before either way after DL, Install and log back into the camera. Factory Reset it once again.
If after all that your camera still having issues and within the Return window, I would look into doing a return. If not and still under the year warranty I would make a Ticket and start a RMA for your replacement..

Re: ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
Also are you using some type of Program for Tracking the camera? HS, BI, or some other 3rd party Desktop app? from your Desktop there is a strange user that logs in and out.
Maybe your using wireshark, or Nmap? There is a odd user in your logs from your PC IP address. I assume it is your PC IP 10.100.18.11 Might be your Cell if your not using P2P for your cell app connection. Personally what I have done so I can keep track what is using P2P and what is from IP log in is my app and ASP I have access my cameras using Revo2Maxx for the user on my PC when I connect with WebUI I connect with admin. This way i know who and what in case something like this happens. Maybe there is some type of issues with Network PC and someone is using it to mess with you. I personally don't know just asking..
Also looking at the Logs deeper there is some Micro SD errors in the logs..

Re: ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
Using the Edit function of the note pad I lost count at over 400 event of SD issues. and I was only 1/2 way though the log so I am guessing there is a lot more still. Now that is start and end so the event for issue would be 1/2 that number in theory seeing it was logging a start and end of the SD card Error.
Event Begin
Content: {Channel NO.:1 Event Type:SD Card Error }
Without the card it shouldn't be having issues.

Re: ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
I've Upgraded, I've downgraded, I've upgraded.
I performed the "Default Setting" and "Factory default"
I've configured from scratch not using the export.
I've swapped camera locations with another cameras.
The SD Card was added to help with snapshot no getting attachment. That didn't help so I went back to using FTP.
The SD card works in any other device I put it in.
The SD card errors may be the third issue with this one camera. I don't have another SD Card to try.
I need all cameras to go to a FTP server.
Still, whether the SD card was in or not, the issues still exist.
Sorry, I failed to realize there was logs being kept or the SD card would have been removed if I saw errors.
I have a server, a desktop, a laptop, and a smart phone of which anyone of them I may have used to get into setup on this camera.
The log may have indicated any one of them has accessed the camera.
These camera are locally accessed only, and currently only by me. I don't use P2P normally. I wiill not have Amcrest Systems allowing anyone to view these cameras.
I have network monitoring software setup on a server which performs pings and scans for services across all networks.
If this system was causing it then the other three cameras would be having the same issues.
Again. I have four ip2m-841-v3 cameras, only this one camera has these issues.
***** What would cause this cameras to reboot on their own? ****
Is there some built in error recovery that causes it?
I believe an RMA is the next thing to do.

Re: ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
Sorry to have asked so many questions, I am just trying to find out what the issue is.
About Reboot cause. If there is an issue with MSD then yes the camera can Reboot. Please note as I may or may not have said I do have a camera that I own that for what ever reason I can't put a MSD in the camera. I can take the one from it put it in any other camera and it works. I can take one from any other camera and put in it and still don't work no matter what card I put in. Now that camera is long outside of the warranty period. Seeing I move cameras around and at times can have them in 1 place for a bit of time without MSD in some location that I feel might benefit from having one I make sure to add one. That camera can't be in that type of spot so I have marked it as such and no longer try to install a MSD card in. It would get VERY hot at the MSD slot and the camera wouldn't work right. That was why I went to check on it after it was rebooting all the time. Remove card camera works fine..
Having 4 cameras I would swap the card into a different camera and see if that solves the issue. Or maybe that card and camera are just not happy together.
All I know is the Logs you offered after looking deeper I seen loads and loads of SD card errors and this is what has me with the idea the issue is Card Related.
So here is something if your able to try. Remove camera from spot, Install in area close to your router or if able to run a Network cable and see if the issue is using the Wifi and MSD. I can't remember what camera right now I know I no longer use it. However I remember a different brand camera that is like the 841's if I used the Wifi and had a MSD installed the camera wasn't happy remove card camera would work, Put on Network cable and card installed camera would work.. Maybe the Amcrest camera shares the power supply for the Wifi and MSD as well? I personally don't know I have not taking one apart to know but is something worth trying.. (Not taking apart) I mean worth trying to connect to Network cable and see if SD works then. From the standpoint if the camera SD shares power with wifi it might be that the voltage is over driving one or the other and causing the system to fail
About asking for something like a Log server is because while I do use one I have a Name that lets me know it is the server that is making access. Personally I don't like that it works this way however I have setup access so if someone was able to get that password I wouldn't have to worry about type of access it has.. I see in your logs there was some events that made me wonder if maybe a server was pinging logging or just checking that it was still active and maybe made this as none of my logs have this wording... Also see that IP is connecting as admin so that was why I asked..

So looking at the admin login it is also from the same IP so thought maybe it was software related in and out before your PC logs in. I mean it might be that the Firmware I am using dont' have that log option and mine would show same thing. Personally worried about installing FW at this time seeing the FW I have isn't listed and not sure if I would be able to return to mine if went to the one your using...
Are you doing a Hot Swap card Removal or you turning off the camera? IF you are doing a hot swap I would make sure when you remove it that you also reboot it so the camera can mark that there is no card active in the camera.
Yes maybe getting RMA going for repair or replacement might be the time. Sorry I wasn't more help

Re: ip2m-841-v3 randomly reboots all day.
Boy, you don't read. I said I had swaped postions. I said it was closest to the AP. The AP is not the problem.
The Sd card is out. I will not put an SD card in a camera that works going to my FTP server. It was an attempt to determine the cause. I don't want a SD card in the cameras.
It just reboot on its own again. I wasn't doing a thing. I can hear the camera when it resets the Pan and Tilt position.
Before making any suggests to anyone, you should review the previous posts to see if it had already been done.
