So I have this camera and it seems to be only one if memory serves me right that has this issue.. Looking for anyone else that has this issue?
So today at Midnight the camera started and i didn't pay attention however besides the Camera being off in LALA land like it always has been since the day I got it... I have to admit Preset1 was in the right place this week. Last week no...
However this isn't the issue that I am writing about. This issue is the camera after reboot for the week started up with my Name I set off and IPC in the name line... I just seen that even though it has been that way since 2am today... So I log in to the Camera UI with the thought that I Reset the camera and didn't put the name back in yet because it was maybe 2 weeks ago that I did a Hard Reset on the camera... Anyway I log in and the name is there it is just off... So I turn on and well this is what I get (Picture Below) So I turn it off, Disable the Name again IPC still there.. I delete it out and put it back but the IPC will not go away... What the HECK is this....
I just tried everything and nothing was working so I had to do another reset of the camera... Logged in over the WebUI on it's IP even though the camera tried to send me to another IP lol.. My router is setup to give it the same one every time so that is nice not having to play around trying to find IP address...
Anyway now the IPC is gone and the camera now has been added back...
Maybe my Memory isn't the best but Setting up my FTP was a PITA... SO before it was under the Network Tab.. Now it is under the area for Setting up recording. SO I find the FTP I try and CLICK on the Enable.. NO!... So I think maybe it wants the info first lets try that.. Put in the info try to enable NO... Click save try still no... I test it is good says it is working still no enable... So I go back to where you pick what you want to record where and click down to the FTP then go back to the page for Enable and now I was able to Enable the thing What a PAIN IN T A PITA....
So that is on the 2020 FW anyone with other FW I am going to guess it is still under the Network Tab but the 2020 FW no it is under the Record area for where you want to record to, Sd card, FTP or NAS
Edit I could be wrong as I have to many IPC cameras to remember where the FTP is on all of them... But It didn't seem like It was that much trouble last time I set it up lol
