IP2M-841 firmware upgrade problem

I am trying to upgrade to the latest firmware on two IP2M-841 (not v3) cameras. When I try to install it, about 1 1/2 squares in the progress bar are immediately colored in, accompanied by the "transmitting data" statement. But it never progresses beyond that. This is resulting on both cameras, one of which is connected by ethernet. Anyone else run into this?

For anyone else that might run into this, I was able to upgrade the firmware by logging into the camera through Amcrest IP Config. The failed attempts were by accessing the camera through a browser.
