So looking for people that have one of the few offered Zoom bullet or other cameras that Amcrest has with Zoom lens. Are they just pure Motorized VF or do they offer preset access?
I ask because while I do have some older Zoom Dahua cameras not one of them offer Preset and to be honest if I happen to zoom in say my 8mp camera that is kind of AI with only Tripwire and Intrusion, It takes forever to get it back to the area of view that I have the camera setup for. Now mind you these are older Zoom cameras. While I do have older zoom cameras for my Analog system. Some of them offer motorized VF where my main used ones do offer preset access that lets me get back to my normal area of view.
So with Amcrest cameras my thought is they are not so old so maybe they offer the feature that has kept me away from wanting to put out so much $ on a new camera.
Maybe someone with the newer AI with zoom or any zoom Bullet camera from Amcrest really does anyone have one that does work with Presets?
Thanks
IP zoom cameras from Amcrest do they offer Preset settings
Re: IP zoom cameras from Amcrest do they offer Preset settings
So for the ones that hasn't already seen it. This is a 2mp 5mm x 50mm bullet camera with Preset access. This is a camera that I am looking to replace with something better then my POS Dahua 8mp camera that is harder then ever to get back into the area of view I want if I choose to zoom in on something.
So to be honest I didn't show another feature of the camera. I don't use it because I have it connected to AI channel. However this camera also has Digital Zoom on motion. Issue with that in the mode I use this camera it kind of defeats the use of the view because it also covers the screen area of motion in red and isn't cool. However it would be nice if one of the Amcrest Zoom cameras had the ability to not only have Presets but ability to zoom on an event. I mean maybe setting up my 1046EW with a Tripwire going up the hill to cause camera to zoom in to a preset would be better then the cameras setting for motion or IVS to preset because of speed from event from one camera to the preset would be better then zoom after events. For my TVI it works because it is instant seeing it is Digital and I keep it to only 4x zoom most anything over that digital isn't worth looking at.. Anyway here is a 55 second video that is unlisted of the camera I am looking to replace.
