I know the IP4M-1051B is listed as an "Indoor" camera, but is it weatherized enough to mount on a covered porch? I have an area that won't get wet. I'm in Florida though and wonder about humidity.
Thoughts?
Thanks.
IP Camera Set Up on Covered Porch
Re: IP Camera Set Up on Covered Porch
There are people that use the little sister to the 1051 the 841 outdoors.. This one person used it in an area that I would have never installed the camera and they bragged about the 2 years they used it before it started to fail... For the cost 2 years is crazy to be honest and they had rain and snow.. I will admit I don't endorse it however I have also used one outdoors in area that is set 10' back on front and sides and back was walled so on 3 sides no water could get to it. However I live in Humid, rain and loads of snow area and I didn't leave it out once the weather got down to 20 degrees even though it was working fine I didn't want to take the chance..
Be Safe.
