IP Cam wont let me log in.

Post by 864s3 »

I have a outdoor bullet camera, I am logged into it on my NVR and I can see it that way through Surveillance Pro, If I go to the IP and type in admin and my password it tells me its not correct, I also can not add it to my Surveillance Pro because it said the password is wrong. I have not changed the password and its working on my NVR but not the Browser, My Phone or the PC program..

I 100 percent know the password is correct and confirmed this by going to Firefox and using the inspect on the NVR setup and saw that the password is correct and that I am entering everything correctly.

This makes no sense that my NVR works perfect but I can not log in on the browser or Surveillance Pro

Hello and Welcome to the forum

So there are some things I need to know more about.

What type of NVR are you working with? Also Inspect using Firefox to see the password? If your using a Amcrest NVR there is no plain text access to the password that one could access using Inspect. (That I know of)

Password to the NVR might not be same as the one on the Camera.

So without knowing what kind of NVR your working with, here are some thing I would do and please only do this if your not accessing your NVR over the Internet connection (Meaning only with local Private IP access) Change the ip in this command to the IP of your NVR, It will ask you to log in after you log in and why I said don't do this if your going though a Internet connection from location 1 to location 2 Local Only. Is once you log in it will return all information in Plain Text. Once you get the plain text you will need to look though it until you find your list of IP cameras and it will look like the text below. The one I posted is from my Doorbell camera that is on CH1 of my 4216E-AI NVR, I removed SN and pass and put admin in however that isn't the real user for my doorbell However it is how it would normally look for people. Because you said your able to see your camera from your NVR this will give you the Password to your camera
