I recently purchased the IP8M-T2669EW-AI and I want to make sure that is has the newest firmware.
I can't find it even mentioned on the Amcrest website. Does it not exist?

Hello and Welcome to the Forum...
Sadly not every camera that is released will be issued a FW update out of the gate.. At times if there is nothing wrong with the current release and it is found to be Stable then they will keep with that Version until there is another Reason to release a new FW..
If you have 2 cameras with say one FW that is much older then another camera like 2018 and one with late 2019 or even 2020 FW on it it could be that there was an issue with the newer fw and it was removed to keep the issues from spreading.. However if the camera has newer 2019 or 2020 FW already on it then it is likely that no new FW has been released and as soon as they get the new FW done, tested and ready for use it will get released... Not every device will always get an update..
