Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum.I live in Italy.
I have been using the camera Amcrest IP2M-858W for over two years to remotely monitor my property. Unfortunately, now I can no longer reach it.
I have already done several tests after resetting the camera to factory settings but I have not been able to resolve anything.
The camera (along with three others that work very well) is connected to a router via wifi and I normally use Amcrest View Pro to view videos or the PC for the various settings.
For 2 weeks the camera has been offline. I tried connecting it to the router with an ethernet cable to rule out that the problem was the wifi communication.
The router assigns it an IP address (so it sees the network card) but for AVP the camera is always offline.
If I try to enter the IP address assigned by the router to the camera in the browser (Safari) it tells me that it cannot reach the server.
Amcrest IP Config finds the camera but if I press the login button the application closes (crash).
I then removed the camera from the pole where it was and redid all the tests with another router and another PC always with the same results.
The factory reset button works because it changed the password to the default (admin) but when I press the reset button the camera does not calibrate (the motors do not turn).
The calibration does seem to work when I turn the camera on.
