How to set/up access recording on mobile app?

There are no good tutorials for this I have this camera

I go to configuration center > Recording schedule and there's a green bar at 12am and 12pm for 5 minutes, so it looks like the camera should turn and and record at those times every day right?

So I go to playback select 12:00 - 12:05 and there's nothing? How do I view these videos im asking it to record. I would settle for just pictures at these times because I'm just observing a meter and the camera is already on-site so I cannot update firmware or use the computer version of the app because I did not set it up.

It's not going to record unless there is motion. You need to set up motion detection. Click Event, Motion Detection and set it up there.

Good luck with actually trying to watch the video on the app,every time i try to view any video...the app crashes...ive reported it many times...no change.

You don't have to set up motion detection to get records stored. App Playback of Normal(green) and Motion Detect(yellow) records works fine for me with SD card storage.
