How to know when PC-NVR is not recording?

I have 4 Amcrest IP2M-841 ProHD 1080P (1920TVL) Wireless WiFi IP Camera, Black. I'm recording using the PC-NVR. But sometimes, because of the PC been reset, lost power o even software issues, I found that some days are no recorded. How can I know, remotely, when the PC-NVR is not recording? Is there any kind of alarm I can set up?

Sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately there is no option on the Software to get notified during such events.
