I just bought an Amcrest HDSeries IPM-721S and got it setup and updated to latest firmware. I have couple of questions, hope someone here can help me out.
1. Under playback, all record file type are alarm type in red, I thought there should be some motion type files in yellow if not all.
2. All files are all time 24 hours continuously recording, I thought it would only record when motion detected.

Hello ryanwoo,
On the web interface of the camera please go to set up > Storage > Schedule and set the schedule for only motion. When you click on the set up option next to schedule, it allows you to choose motion, general and alarm recording. Leave only alarm checked and apply this for the whole week.
Also under set up > Event > Motion detect, make sure its turned on and the motion schedule is set.
