I have 12 720p bullet cameras attached to my DVR with coax. The DVR is model AMDV72116. I bought the DVR and 8 cameras as this kit
https://amcrest.com/amcrest-amdv72116-8 ... meras.html
It’s advertised as able to record at 30fps across all channels.
The option to encode above 15fps is only available on channel 1. The pull down menu only goes to 15 on all of the other channels. I’ve increased the bandwidth on all the other channels, reduced the bandwidth and frametaye on channel 1. No matter what 15fps is the max.
Support has been unhelpful - they told me to drop the framerate on channel 1.
Anyone have any experience with this? Is the DVR unable to work ad advertised?
HDCVI DVR Frame Rates
Re: HDCVI DVR Frame Rates
Apparently I need to read the fine print a lot better. While “record, stream, encode at 30fps!” is allll over the description and technical details for the system, there is one small mention that the cameras themselves only generate 15fps video. A little frustrated, I would have bought a different model if that was a little more openly listed.
