I recently purchased the HDCVI 8 channel Eco-HD 1080P with Eight 2.0MP cameras (model numbers below) and cannot find documentation on either camera model anywhere on the amcrest.com website. Searching the Support Center section of the website for either of these two model numbers doesn't return a single hit. Going to SUPPORT->Firmware and browsing by Model Type doesn't show anything related to these cameras either. Are these discontinued models? If not, why in the world doesn't Amcrest acknowledge these in their "Support Center"? Are there any firmware upgrades for these?
Model Numbers:
DVR - AMDV10818-S3
Dome Camera - AMC1081DM36-B
Bullet Camera - AMC1081BC36-B
Maybe I'm looking int he wrong places but the documentation (installation guides, user manuals, etc..) for the DVR and Cameras is almost non-existent. This is the first product I've ever worked with that doesn't have some sort of manual to explain what the different settings are in the menus.
Does anyone know how to flip the camera 90 degrees? Every reference I've found so far states that this can be accomplished via Setup->Camera->Configuration but I do not have an option for "Flip".
Thanks in advance!
HDCVI Cameras Discontinued?
Re: HDCVI Cameras Discontinued?
Hello jay508,
Unfortunately there is no separate section in the support center for these cameras as these are DVR camera systems. Unlike Ip cameras, these cameras cannot work on their own without DVR.
ON the monitor while you view the camera live, right click and check if it gives you an option for flip.
