I just want to have a quick way to disable the motion detection for my 4 camera and then reactivate it manually when I leave the home.
I've been at it for 2days, going thru the API documentation, reading the posts, having at it with javascript, python, php etc.... tried basically to use the digest authentication...it's been frustating to no end with NO success... could not find a single complete step-by-step example and after installing 20++ libraries, servers, node.js, passport.js, etc etc I just lost it.
Finally back to curl
The curl command works magic, and so far it's the thing that I managed to successfully use
this work... getting the config using getConfig( )
curl -s --digest -u admin:adminpass -o /tmp/response -w "%{http_code}\n" -G "http://mylocalip/cgi-bin/configManager. ... tionDetect"
this does not .. setting the config using setConfig( ) ubuntu simply does nothing after the command
curl -s --digest -u admin:adminpass -o /tmp/response -w "%{http_code}\n" -G "http://mylocalip/cgi-bin/configManager. ... able=false"
IP3M-943W
Software Version2.400.AC02.15.R, Build Date: 2017-07-31
WEB Version3.2.1.422026
ONVIF Version2.42
Does anyone had this working? I know there are but in the curl/digest/ConfigManager cgi...
I have no idea how to do this beside actually flipping them on/off everytime
Has anybody been able to use curl and setConfig?

Here's probably why it doesn' work:

Another way to do it that does work:
Use android IP Camera Viewer app "Mass Action" feature to turn on/off motion for all enabled Amcrest cameras. Takes four clicks in app. It may be using Onvif to do it.
