My dome cameras are experiencing a bad halo or ghosting effect when night recording. (qty 4)

They are located under porch overhang and I've tilted them about 40°.

Has anyone with a dome camera experienced this and corrected it.

If I turn off ir then the picture goes dark.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Another possibility is to leave IR off, and install external IR illuminator(s) away from the cameras that illuminate the subject area but do not cause reflections.
