Gamma setting to avoid solid white imafges at night time

Post by TonyHagan »

I have been having a lot of motion detection alerts that result in solid white images of the triggered animal/bug/bird etc. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, have you changed the gamma setting for the paricular cameras? What setting have you used? I recently changed to sensitivity 60 and threshold 85 settings.
This greatly reduced the number of false alerts at night.

But when I do get a valid night time alert with snapshot, I cannot determine what triggered the alert.
