When I configure my IP Camera to FTP to our NAS, mp4_ files are created. And some JPGs are saved. This doesn't seem normal. When I set FTP to my desktop, I get only mp4 files in 20 second bursts, whereas the mp4 files here are only half a second. So, is this this a bug with Amcrest firmware or what? When I do FTP test, I get "FTP server test failure, list right loss." Screenshot attached.
So I'm not sure what the problem is. Someone please shed insight on what's preventing me from FTP'ing to my NAS. The only settings that are different on the camera is the IP address when switching from my desktop's IP to the NAS' IP.

Re: FTP server test failure, list right loss.
Assuming you have the IP2M-841 camera, the 6-29 firmware is pretty buggy and it has some major ftp flaws. The main one being it not keeping recordings over a day old. I've reverted my camera to the older firmware, 3-22-2017 which does not have the issue. Amcrest has gone quiet in providing a fix for this. We have a separate thread detailing this here:
