Firmware update missing release notes

The camera is telling me there is a firmware update from version 8 to 9. However, when I go to this page:

https://amcrest.com/firmware

I do not see release notes. Given the disastrous nature of other firmware rollouts, I am not going to upgrade until I know what's contained in it. Can you please not release firmware until you also have the release notes done so that we can have an idea of what the update includes?

Thank you for this post. As a relatively new Amcrest customer I'm amazed at the complete lack of rigor and discipline I see in everything they do. Their leadership team needs to see these posts.

The company is a joke, as I am now finding out too late. There is one guy, named Melvin, who is doing his best to manage this forum, but it's obvious that his leadership just sent him here as a fall guy. Best of luck to you Mark.
