Amcrest ProHD 1080P
IP2M-841W
I was able to see it on my network, and it was reachable via the Android app. I started up the Windows configuration tool, updated the firmware successfully, then re-connected via the Windows tool.
On the Net tab, I uncheck DHCP, put in a static IP address (no other device is using that IP) and keep the rest of the settings. I click Save.
I get the following windows:
Success. RTSP save successfully. OK.
Success. Save successfully. OK
Attention. The data is wrong, save invalid. OK
It then goes back to the Net tab, with the new static IP in the field, but the information isn't saved. If I Return out of that window, and Refresh the main window, the old, DHCP IP is listed there and not the one I put in as a static, dedicated IP.
Please let me know how to make it allow me to change the IP from DHCP to a static, dedicated IP.
Thanks!
Error when changing from DHCP to static IP
Re: Error when changing from DHCP to static IP
Just a guess but there are IP settings for both hardwired and wireless. Make sure you are changing the right one and that there is no IP conflict with the other setting.
