DVR CPU LOCKED UP

I noticed my DVR was rebooting every minute, felt the top of the dvr case and it was too hot to touch, opened the case and noticed the fan was unable to spin. Has anyone replaced the CPU heatsink and fan with an aftermarket one?

There is no easy replacement for the mother board fan. We used to have a system with two fans, a mother board fan and side housing ventilation fan. It is possible to replace the side housing ventilation fan with below one.

If you are within the warranty period, I would suggest you get your system replaced.
