Difference between sensitivity and threshold

I'm not sure what the difference is, would anyone be able to explain this to me?

I don't have an authoratitive answer to that but I think of threshold as a way of fine tuning the sensitivity setting. Finding the combination that is right for a particular camera in a particular location takes quite a lot of experimentation.

Just as important as getting the sensitivity/threshold is making sure you map appropriate areas in the detection area of the image. It can be really troublesome if you have a trees and traffic in the image.
